Carrington Rally Then & Now

Primetime Video has announced its new Carrington DVD today. It features this year's 60th Anniversary event, and some of the machines on show including the fairground and model sections, but also looks back to the very first event in 1959, and other key years in the 1960s, 70s and 80s. These include main ring parades and performances by aircraft and motor cycle teams, some of the games that used to be played in the ring, including people versus steam tug-of-wars, barrel rolling by engines and pram races, as well as the legendary piano-smashing competition. A unique look at this historic event, and its traditions and history.
