International Tractors and Machinery (DVD 018)
Carrington Rally makes a special feature of one make or model of agricultural workhorse each year. In 1998 it was the turn of International to take centre stage, and more than 150 International, McCormick, and Deering machines gathered at the Rally site. Highlights of this video include a fine selection of early Mogul and Titan models and more that a dozen of the 8-16 Junior and 10-20 tractors which set International on the road to modern tractor tractor design. The innovative 'rowcrop' Farmalls are there, and the Standard range that accompanied them, as the company fought its way to the top of the pile to become the World's biggest tractor maker in the 30s and 40s.
The crawler TracTracTor ranges are not forgotten, and the British built machines include a gold painted Super BTD6! There is a selection of International machinery, including a veteran pre-war combine and a baler that needed a small army of men operate it, and a range of working International tractors and machines.
